Jackson County School System

On February 20, 2014, severe weather hit the Jackson County High School Gymnasium.  The roof of the gymnasium blew off due to the high winds, leaving extensive damage to the interior of the gymnasium as well.  At 1:30 A.M. on February 21, 2014, Director of Schools Joe Barlow made an emergency call to the Tennessee Risk Management Trust (TNRMT) to notify them of the damage.  At 7:00 A.M. on the morning after the storm, BELFOR Property Restoration had workers on location to begin the cleanup process.  In addition, TNRMT employee Deborah Coy was on site to assess the damage.  We at the Jackson County School System greatly appreciate the timely response and continued support from TNRMT during this trying time.
